kindling
I used a free web hosting service to get started, then used templates and tutorials to build up a skeleton. Got fancy with it, added a guestbook to let people holler. They won’t find it on their own, so I tell them about it. I’m on Itch (and you are too, aren’t you?) so I post about it there. If the only way they find me is through me, I’ve failed, so I make sure I’m search indexed. Too much SEO and my soul dies but this much is okay.

You don’t have to start from scratch. Blogger or Medium or Bearblog or Itch (yes, Itch!) works too if you have the words to say and just need somewhere to say them. What’s vital is making something stable, something that can be organized for easier reference instead of experienced once in the Grand Flow Of Content and then lost beneath the noise.
Don’t follow my instructions. Do what you want, do it the way you want, do it the way you can. But you have to do it. Build the fire, shine a light, beyond paywalls or passwords.
Make lists of games that you like. Make glossaries of personal vocabulary for talking about games. Make lists of resources you’ve found valuable. Write up your own campaigns, either as short pitches or session by session summaries or broad retrospectives. Write reviews of systems or modules, short or long. Repost your microgames. Repost your homebrew. Make recommendation guides. Make character guides. Make setting guides. Make something, anything, that you wish someone had made for you.
Don’t let the fire die.
